NBC Permeable Suit MK-V is an Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) used in the nuclear, biological and chemical warfare environment. It provides the protection to body of the wearer in the NBC environment.
It provides protection against chemical warfare agents with minimum BTT (Break through time) of 24 hrs.
It is light weight. It has ACS (Activated Carbon Sphere) of high crushing strength and enhanced adsorption capability.
It provides oil and water repellency as well as fire retardancy. It provides antistaticity. It provides six times launderability with required chemical protection and carbon shedding within specified limit. It provides high air permeability. It has a shelf life of 10 years.

Technical Specifications
NBC Suit MK-V is a one piece garment fabricated out of Flame Retardant (FR), Water Repellent (WR), Oil Repellent (OR), Antistatic and Camouflage printed fabric as the outer shell fabric, Activated Carbon Sphere (ACS) coated filter fabric and a non-woven covering layer. ACS utilized in the development of the filter fabric has the requisite crushing strength of 1.5 kg per sphere or more.
Size : The NBC Suit MK-V is manufactured in four sizes, viz. small, and medium, large and extra-large covering the requirements of user. The weight of extra-large size suit is less than 2.75 kg.
The NBC Suit MK-V has been designed suitably for use with the complementary protective items viz. NBC boot/Overboot, NBC respirator/integrated hood mask, NBC gloves and haversack.
